This category covers all island distilleries, except Islay’s. Whether those whisky outposts sit on the Outer Hebrides or Arran, and are old-timers as on Orkney, or newcomers like on Raasay, this region’s are the furthest flung. Very varied. Sweet, smoky, just about anything in between. Usually well-rounded and robust.
