A micro-region located at the southern tip of the Kintyre peninsular on Scotland’s spectacular west coast. At one time at least 30 distilleries operated here, but now just three are found in town. However, the standard of their malts is impossible to ignore. Peaty. Sweet, now and then with a hint of sherry. Briny. Even oily.
